Flagler County Traffic Ticket Attorneys

Flagler County Florida is located on the northeast coast of Florida below Jacksonville.  The county seat is Bushnell and the county population is approximately 50,000.  The main law enforcement agencies are the Florida Highway Patrol and the Flagler County Sheriffs Office.  There were almost 10,000 citations issued within the past year in the county.  Of those sixty-two percent or over 6200 citations were issued for unlawful speed.  Half of those citations were issued by the Florida Highway Patrol.  Many of those citations were issued using laser, radar, aircraft or by pacing.  Pacing citations are issued when an officer follows a vehicle for a certain amount of time while looking at his/her speedometer.  The officer then pullss the alleged violator and issues them a citation.

The city of Bunnell and Flagler Beach also have their own police departments.  Their enforcement activity pales in comparison to the sheriffs office or Florida Highway Patrol.  The city police in Bunnell issued over 500 moving violations and arrested 33 people for driving under the influence or DUI.
