Gadsden County Traffic Ticket Attorneys

Gadsen County Florida is located due west of Tallahassee Florida.  The population is close to 50,000 and Gadsden County is the only predominantly African-American county in Florida.  The main law enforcement agency is the Gadsden County Sheriffs Office and is assisted by the Florida Highway Patrol.  There are several city police departments in Gadsden County including, Chattahoochee, Greensboro, Gretna, Havana and Quincy.

Last year there were almost 12,000 non-criminal moving violations issued in Gadsden County.  Of those citations over 9,000 were issued for unlawful speed.  There is no doubt that law enforcement in Gadsen County is aggressive in their enforcement.  The Florida Highway Patrol issued over 7,000 speeding ticket alone in the entire county.  They use laser, radar, aircraft and speedometer pace as tactics to determine vehicle speeds.

Aside from speeding ticket, Gadsden County law enforcement issued over 2000 criminal violations.  Most of these violations were for driving while license suspended in violation of Florida Statute 322.34 or no valid driver's license in violation of Florida Statute 322.03 (1).
