St Petersburg police officer Curtis Dixon has been accused of careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident following a Tampa Rays baseball game. According to MyFoxTampaBay.com, Dixon is accused of rear-ending a mini-van in his police cruiser and then taking off.

The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for information on a hit-and-run driver who was allegedly driving a stolen car at the time he or she caused two accidents. Two people were killed and four others injured in three car accidents that took place on Holloway Road. The driver of the alleged stolen SUV left the scene accident.

The first of the three accidents was caused by a man running a stop sign that caused both people in the vehicle to be ejected from the car and die. It was after that car accident that the Ford Explorer crashed into one of the cars from the previous accident and then ran into another car further down the road. All the injured were taken to Tampa General Hospital and Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested 21-year-old Brandon Sauer on Sunday after he called Pasco County deputies and disclosed the fact he was involved in a hit-and-run. Sauer allegedly ran over 19-year-old Walter Fortier who just got over being stabbed in the chest by his roommate three months ago, according to TBO.com. Now Fortier is back in the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg in critical condition.

Largo Police Are On The Search For A Hit And Run Driver Who Critically Injured A Pedestrian

Police are asking for your help in locating the driver of a newer model silver car that was involved in a hit and run that left a pedestrian in the hospital in critical condition. The accident happened Saturday night around 10:00 p.m. Witnesses say the car hit a pedestrian, stopped and then took off running a red light.

Police are searching for a car that was described as either a Cadillac or Ford with front end damage. The car likely has a broken windshield and headlights. The injured pedestrian has not been named at this point and was listed in critical condition. The accident took place on Seacrest Drive and East Bay Drive.

Woman With A History Of Traffic Tickets Cited For Passing A Stopped School Bus And Hitting A Child

A sixth-grade student at an Osceola Middle School was hit by a car Wednesday afternoon. According to TampaBay.com 69-year-old Taygeti Rigakos illegally passed a stopped school bus and hit Jacqueline M. Jeffery as she got off her bus. The young girl was taken to the hospital. Here injuries do not appear to be life threatening according to the story.

Rigakos was issued a traffic citation for passing a stopped school bus. According to records, Rigakos received a traffic ticket in 2003 for failing to yield and elected to go to traffic school. In 2000 she was cited for leaving the scene of an accident. She pled no contest to that hit and run charge, paid a fine and adjudication was withheld.
